Viburnum X Burkwoodii Anne Russell is a smaller, more compact version of Viburnum Burkwoodii and as such is suitable for much smaller gardens. Viburnum X Burkwoodii Anne Russell has large, almost spherical pink buds opening white. It is very scented and best placed nearer to the house from where the scent can be appreciated.

As shrubs go, viburnum are very easy to grow. They are not fussy about the soil condition and will grow best in full sun but they will tolerate semi shaded positions. Viburnum is a must have plant for winter colour and for mixed shrubberies.
