Rosa Banksiae Alba
Climbing rose which has beautiful double white flowers which are fragrant and profuse - flowering in early summer this is virtually a thornless variety. It will tolerate partial shade but really prefers a sunny aspect - this variety is very disease resistant and is very attractive to bees and other pollinators.
In a mild winter it may retain it's leaves, it is once flowering and perfect for south facing walls or for climbing over pergolas, arbours, arches and pillars - it can look magnificent and very romantic when growing up into a mature tree.
A really stunning rose which will be covered in sweet rose scented blooms.
