Unlike Hydrangea Macrophylla, Hydrangea Paniculata can be grown as beautiful little trees that are highly ornamental when correctly trained and shaped. Paniculata Hydrangeas have a more upright growth habit than the mophead hydrangea and can be pruned at any time (apart from when they are blooming or about to bloom, of course).
These Hydrangea Paniculata Limelight Tree Form plants have been carefully trained as half standard trees. With their spectacular showy cone shaped blooms that change colour throughout their lengthy flowering season, this topiary style half standard form suits Hydrangea Paniculata Limelight very well.
Hydrangea Paniculata Limelight Tree Form has many prized ornamental features. Its prolific blooms begin in mid-summer and last well into the autumn. The showy blooms emerge as beautiful, conical shaped flowers that are up to 30 cm long. In colour, they are bright lime green at the outset with hues of creamy yellow. By autumn, the flowers will have turned white and finally a rich pink as winter approaches.

Hydrangea Paniculata Limelight will grow in full sun or partial shade. It will need a lot of water particularly when flowering and will grow in well drained fertile rich humus soil.
