Kanjiro Hiryu produces profusely dramatic blooms in the deepest cerise red with a beautiful golden stamen centre. This sumptuous colour arrives in the garden just when you need it the most during the autumn and winter months. Blooming right through the winter season this is a must have shrub for sheer splendour.
Evergreen, the glossy leathery leaves are attractive and these shrubs can make a beautiful hedge for privacy screening.  Usually available as a bushy shrub we also stock as a standard tree. 

Camellias were introduced from the Far East and became hugely popular during Victorian times and is still one of the most prized shrubs today.

Growing Tip: Camellias prefer a well-drained soil preferably acidic, so if you don't have this soil type - it's not a problem as Camellias will grow really well in planters using ericaceous (acidic) soil, making them a great choice for patio planting.
