Acer Palmatum Dissectum Garnet Feathered has a beautiful feather-shaped leaf, creating a very delicate canopy. In Spring the leaves emerge as a deep purple colour, gradually changing to purple with a greenish hue as the leaves mature. By Autumn this tree will be a blaze of colour as the foliage changes to crimson.
Acer Palmatum Dissectum Garnet is a slow growing variety which has a naturally characterful tree shape which is almost bonsai-like and would make a stunning specimen tree. Often used in Japanese garden design this is a beautiful tree for growing in any situation, especially if space is limited. Lovely focal point on patios or in the border.
