Pleached Cherry Laurel Trees are also known as Prunus Laurocerasus Pleached Trees 
These stunning clear stemmed pleached trees are evergreen with very dense foliage giving great screening cover. These trees are perfect for screening out unsightly views or for above wall or fence screening to give more boundary privacy with neighbours.

As with all Cherry Laurels, the foliage is bright green and very shiny and the leaves have an almost leathery quality. The young shoots are a vibrant green and they develop into a gorgeous dark green screen as the leaves mature. These trees are relatively fast growing but easy to keep in shape with a light trim once per year.

Pleached trees are usually planted with their frames immediately abutting to create an instant screen, therefore, if the screen is 1m width you would plant 1 tree every metre.

The tree stems do not grow but the bushy part will eventually grow outside the frame - so you can prune to keep in shape with the frame or build a taller/wider frame as the bushy part grows.

The bamboo frame can over many years be removed if preferred but usually it is kept in place forever as a continuing support for the tree.
