Photinia Topiary Cones are beautifully structured evergreen cones that add height and colour to your garden throughout the year. Photinia is a very popular shrub and one of our best sellers. It has luscious leathery broad leaves and new shoots that emerge bright red in early spring. These gradually mature to green with a bronze tinge in autumn. In May and June small white flowers form on the tips of its branches and ripen to small black berries in August.|

Our Photinia red robin cones are clipped and trained into rounded topiary cones and are available in several sizes.

Photinia red robin is a fast-growing shrub that can put on 30 centimetres growth in a year. To keep yours in its original condition a twice-yearly trim is needed.

Photinia red robin cones are hardy plants that withstand sub-zero winters if their roots are well-drained. They are rarely bothered by pests. Harsh drying winds may damage the young red foliage so a sheltered to semi-sheltered spot is best.
