Pleached Malus Toringo Brouwers Beauty is a deciduous pleached crab apple tree with white blossom and yellow-red crab apples in autumn. It makes excellent above fence line hedges and privacy screens. Pleached Trees are trained to have a clear single trunk and a square crown on top clipped around a bamboo frame. Over time the crown will grow and thicken to create an above the fenceline screen. 

Pleached Brouwers Beauty Crab Apple is a Japanese native variety that will grow on heavy soils and performs well in the UK. In spring dark-green foliage unfurls on arching branches. The serrated foliage turns deeper green in the summer months and buttery yellow in autumn. Blossom arrives in late spring as small pink-tinged buds but opens to clean white blossom that covers branches in a profusion of scent attracting many species of pollinator. Leaves fall for winter revealing small yellow-red crab apples. Fruit remains on the branches until late November if not eaten by blackbirds beforehand.
