An evergreen compact mat forming conifer, with sharply blue-green pointed foliage, a low growing conifer which naturally forms a rounded mound shape, this is a superb option for ground covering. Juniperus Procumbens Nana also called Decumbent Juniper Nana is one of the most frequently chosen trees to create as bonsai. Its flowing, tumbling, foliage creates a lovely shape and in addition the attractive foliage turns to a beautiful purple shade in winter.
This low growing conifer, prefers full sun, and will grow well in any well drained fertile soil. A beautiful specimen that will look amazing in pots for patio's or roof terraces and for mixed borders

Prune in early spring or late winter, before the new season growth begins using a nice sharp pair of garden shears or bonsai scissors to keep a nice shape.
