Latin name Cupressus Sempervirens and also commonly called Pencil Cypress. Italian Cypress are popular in formal Italian-style gardens where they add vertical height without the bulk.
Differing from the original Italian Cypress, Italian Cypress Agrimed cultivar has been bred to resist the cypress canker that has damaged cypresses across the UK. It’s a tough but slender evergreen that suits all garden styles and sizes. Originally from the Mediterranean, Cupressus Sempervirens Agrimed Full Standard Trees are evergreen hence their name ‘Sempervirens’ which is Latin for ‘always alive’ or ‘ever green’. These slender evergreen conifers have dark green scaly foliage formed in dense sprays that are rough to the touch and often produce small cones in autumn.
