Cedar Libani Pendula also named Weeping Cedar of Lebanon is a dark green, conical shaped, elegant tree with wide spread branches and sharply pointed grey-green leaves. It originates from Turkey and Lebanon and really prefers full sun but will tolerate partial shade and has a very distinctive spread outwards of the branches whilst retaining an upright trunk. This variety is prized for its columnar habit and unusually shaped branches. Cedar Libani Pendula is relatively slow growing.The resin from Cedar of Lebanon tree was highly prized in ancient Egypt.
