Plant the shrub in full sun or partial shade. It is a slow growing plant and may take up to 20 years before fully grown. When it comes to soil conditions, the Golden Torch isn’t picky. It will grow in acidic or alkaline soils. The tough shrub thrives in loam, chalk, clay, or sand.
