Acer Palmatum Trompenburg is one of the more unusual varieties of Japanese maple, this is a lovely smaller, hardy, Japanese Acer with purple / red leaves that turn a bright crimson in the autumn.
The leaves are unusual in that they curl down slightly, as this is a more rare variety - its highly sought after for its leaves and tree form by collectors and makes a stunning contribution to a garden.
Acer Palmatum Trompenburg grows to a Max Height 4m to 5m. Max Spread 3m. It prefers to be planted in full sun.
