Trachycarpus Fortunei is the hardiest palm in the world. It is commonly known as the Chusan Palm and also the Chinese Windmill Palm. This is a much in demand architectural palm tree with beautiful segmented fan shaped leaves. The leaves fan out from the trunk and the trunk has a hairy appearance.
The Trachycarpus Fortunei palm has a maximum height of over 12m and a maximum spread of around 2m.
Trachycarpus Fortunei flowers from May to August. It is fully hardy and likes a position of sun or partial shade.
We have a variety of sizes in stock, ranging from younger palm of approx. 1 metre in height to large specimen palm trees of up to 4 metres.
