Hardy Perennials
Perennial plants for the Herbaceous Border
Evergreen & Deciduous Perennials
Hardy perennials are plants which live for more than 2 years. Most herbaceous perennials grow and bloom over the spring and summer season and then die back every winter. They grow back again each spring from their root-stock rather than seeding themselves as an annual does.
Perennials can provide an abundance of colour for your garden throughout the spring and summer season. The fact that they grow back stronger each year means you do not have to replant them.
Popular perennial choices include the clump forming African Lily Blue Storm (Agapanthus Africanus Blue Storm) with beautiful blue or white flowers, Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia), Russian Sage - Perovskia Blue Spire which will grow in poorer soils and the spectacular architectural Gunnera Manicata
Whatever your preference, we have a large selection of exotic and hardy perennials in stock. As always, we are on hand to advise.
