Thuya is finally getting deserved recognition as one of the best hedging conifers, providing dense growth and a lush green colour. Although slower growing than Leylandi, Thuya Occidentalis Brabant is still pretty vigorous and for instant hedging solutions we have mature specimens to provide privacy screening. Brabants grow at a rate of 40-60cm a year and will reach an ultimate height of roughly 6m and a spread of 2-2.5m.

Our quality specimens, are, as you can see from the pictures, very bushy from the bottom to the top of the plant and if you plant 2 trees per linear metre you will create an instant hedge. Very heavy growth makes these Thuya Occidentalis plants extremely good value for money. Thuya Occidentalis Brabant stands up to regular clipping much better than Leylandii - they renew and keep their nice green growth and release a very pleasant pineapple fragrance as the leaves are cut.
