Also commonly known as Very Little Leaf Lilac Superba is a beautiful Lilac cultivar, with as the name suggests, very small ovate leaves and very pretty pink, scented flowers that present in conical clusters or panicles.
This Lilac variety is very fragrant as are most Lilacs and for this reason they are coveted as cut flowers too. A few stems of Syringa Microphylla Superba in a vase, will perfume an entire room. The blooms appear during late Spring and will carry on blooming through the summer months.

Growing Tip - gentle deadheading, will prolong the flowering period.
Syringa Microphylla Superba is a very hardy, deciduous shrub with a bushy habit that will grow in most soils as long as it has some sun. It is also not fussy about being sheltered so it can occupy a myriad of locations and is very easy to grow.
