Prunus Eminens Umbraculifera or Globe Cherry

It is an highly ornamental flowering cherry which will light up your garden in both spring and autumn! Native to Asia, this small deciduous tree can be used in a variety of settings. In April, the small, narrow dark green leaves emerge at the same time as the profuse single flowers which will blanket the tree in white and attract bees and butterflies to your garden. Even in winter, the bare branches and rounded shape of the crown will add visual interest. This ornamental cherry rarely sets fruit, making clean-up much less of a problem.
