Topiary Holly - Ilex Aquifolium Argentea Marginata
Also named Silver Margined Holly, Ilex Aquifolium Argentea Marginata is an evergreen shrub with spiny undulate green leaves boldly edged with cream and tinged pink when young. Small white flowers appear in spring, followed by bright red berries in autumn.
Ilex Aquifolium plants are quite slow-growing. A beautiful specimen that will give the garden colour for spring, summer, autumn and winter. Also, it will look great in pots for patios or on either side of the front door. If you have a small garden or patio where space is at a premium, these topiary hollies are an excellent investment.
These topiary holly trees like full sun or partial shade and will grow well in any well-drained fertile soil. To maintain shape, simply clip once or twice a year.
