Hibiscus Syriacus Woodbridge
With a nice bushy shape and acclaimed pink flowers, the beautiful, late flowering Hibiscus Syriacus Woodbridge will bring a burst of autumnal colour to the garden.
In its late summer / early autumn prime, the Hibiscus Syriacus Woodbridge displays a mass of mid-green foliage and an abundance of gorgeous deep pink flowers with beautifully contrasting crimson hearts. Once they start, these dramatically pretty flowers will keep on blooming until October!
Another characteristic of Hibiscus Syriacus, this deciduous plant will be one of the very last in the garden to get its new leaves each spring. The leaves can sometimes arrive as late as May. In fact, many people, forgetting this fact, have just about given up on them when they suddenly burst into new leaf. The stunning late summer / autumn colour is more than ample reward for the late arrival of the foliage.
Planted in a nice, sunny spot (as they do like the sun), the Hibiscus Syriacus Woodbridge, once established, will become a valued addition to your garden, not least due to the timing of its late flowering period. The plants make for attractive, medium-sized shrubs over time and can easily be kept in a nice, neat bushy shape. Hibiscus Syriacus Woodbridge can grow to circa 3 Metres high by 2 Metres wide.
Hibiscus Syriacus Woodbridge likes humus rich soil which can be neutral to slightly acidic that drains well.
Our premium Hibiscus plants are all UK hardy and already quite mature, coming in a 10 L pot and standing circa 70 cm tall.
