How To Use Diervilla Rivularis Honeybee
A great choice for low maintenance gardens Diervilla Rivularis Honeybee brings plenty of spring and summer colour to a mixed border. In wildlife gardens a single plant will attract plenty of pollinators, but a swathe will hum with bees during summer.
It’s also a good choice for low maintenance front gardens and empty spaces with poor soils such as dry shade - although do water well until established.
You can grow Bush Honeysuckle in a large well-watered and fed plant container to brighten a dull deck or patio too.
How To Care For Diervilla Rivularis Honeybee
This new cultivar enjoys a sunny to partially shady spot and will retain its golden colour in shadier aspects. It is not fussy about soil conditions or pH if the roots are well drained. It will grow in less than average soils.
Prune down to a low framework in spring and apply a thick layer of mulch for the growing season. This will ensure the strongest colour and plentiful flowers.
