Cornus Kousa Milky Way (Chinese Dogwood)
Cornus Kousa Milky Way is one of the finest flowering Dogwoods. Flowering dogwoods are wonderful shrubs or small ornamental trees which flower in June with unusual flowers called Bracts which in the case of Cornus Kousa Milky Way are pure white. They flower abundantly and you can expect the plant to be covered in flowers, followed by fruits that are loved by the birds.
After flowering, a large wonderful fruit is produced which is really delicious. In the autumn, the attractive green foliage turns wonderful shades of red and crimson.
Cornus Kousa Milky Way can grow to a height of 4 or 5 metres (but can be clipped very easily) in about 15 years. These plants like fertile, well draining soil and prefer a nice sunny spot.
