Gardman Spiral Tree Guards wind around the trunks of young saplings to protect them against animals or chemicals. They expand with natural tree growth.
These top-of-the-range tree guards measure 53 cms by 4 cm and wrap around the base of saplings to keep them safe from animal or chemical contact as well as providing a microclimate for strong growth.
Made from brown plastic they are tough but blend into the landscape. There’s no need to remove the guards as they expand with tree growth over time.
To use a spiral tree guard effectively simply begin at the base and wind it up the trunk until the plastic is fully wound.
