Elaeagnus Ebbingei Full Standard Tree

These are beautiful specimen, evergreen, Elaeagnus Ebbingei Full Standard Trees. The Elaeagnus Ebbingei Tree is also more commonly known as the Oleaster.

Elaeagnus Ebbingei or Oleaster is a vigorous, evergreen shrub or tree with glossy dark green leaves that are a silvery colour beneath. Eleagnus Ebbingei produces fragrant creamy white flowers followed by orange speckled silver fruit. The flowering period is September to October and the decorative fruits emerge in February.

Eleagnus grows very vigourously at a rate of roughly 30cm per year. However, they rarely grow beyond 4m in height and spread, making them very useful if a smaller screening tree is needed. On these full standard Elaeagnus Ebbingei trees, the stem height (height from the top of the pot to the foliage) will not change significantly approx. 1.8-2m height. 

Also available smaller Eleagnus Three Quarter standard trees are circa 2 metres tall (excluding the pot size) and have a trunk height of about 1.3 metres.

The taller full standard Elaeagnus Ebbingei trees are circa 3 metres tall and have a trunk height of circa 1.8 metres to 2 metres.

Our Eleagnus Ebbingei trees will grow in full sun or partial shade. They are fully hardy and are suitable for windy or coastal areas.
